As a homeowner, you don't want to hear that there is black mold in your living space. The thought of mold growth may terrify you. It's true that fungus can be a problem in Beverly/ Cape Ann, but the spores themselves really aren't that scary, if you talk to any residential mold professional, you'll learn a few important things about this growth.

It may have a smell. Some molds, particularly black mold, are associated with a musty odor. This aroma may be what clues you in to your growth. However, this fungus can exist without a tell-tale smell.
